Premium Natural Spring Water to Support Feeding America® with The Hollywood Foreign Press Association
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 26th, 2021) – Icelandic Glacial, The Purest Tasting Water on Earth, will return as the official water partner of the 78th Annual Golden Globe® Awards. For the second consecutive year, the premium naturally alkaline, sustainably sourced spring water will partner with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and its annual Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, which will air LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC Sunday, February 28th, 2021 from 5-8PM PT/8-11PM ET. This year, the brand’s sponsorship will proudly support the efforts of Feeding America®.
Alongside HFPA, Icelandic Glacial will support Feeding America to provide necessary hydration for people in need during these unprecedented times by donating premium bottled water to food banks. For 40 years, Feeding America has responded to the hunger crisis in America by providing food to people in need through a nationwide network of food banks. Icelandic Glacial is proud to commemorate the year’s excellence in film and television by honoring and supporting the essential work of the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization.
“We are dedicated to providing clean water and aid to those in need,” said Jon Olafsson, co-founder and chairman of Icelandic Glacial. “We are proud our continued partnership with the HFPA and Golden Globe Awards is allowing us the opportunity to make a difference and support the important work of Feeding America.”
These donations represent Icelandic Glacial’s most recent efforts to provide disaster relief to impacted regions. In 2020, as an extension of its Golden Globes partnership, Icelandic Glacial supported disaster relief efforts in Puerto Rico and Flint, Michigan through water donations. Additionally, the company regularly donates to the National Kidney Foundation, Just Keep Livin Foundation, American Heart Association, American Lung Association and the National Brain Tumor Society.

About The Hollywood Foreign Press Association
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) was founded in 1943 – then known as the Hollywood Foreign Correspondents Association – by a group of entertainment journalists based in Los Angeles. During World War II, the non-profit organization established a cultural bridge between Tinseltown and millions of cinema fans around the world who demanded drama and inspiration through entertainment. The HFPA continues to do so today with a membership representing more than 55 countries. Since 1944, the group has hosted the annual Golden Globe® Awards – the premier ceremony which honors achievements in both television and film. The licensing fees from the Golden Globe® Awards has enabled the organization to donate more than $44.5 million to more than 70 entertainment-related charities, film restoration, scholarship programs and humanitarian efforts over the last 25 years.
